I woke up the other day and grabbed my cell phone as I always do. I have a habit of checking to make sure I don’t have any bad news from the mainland. Those of you who are parents may know that even if your kids are grown, you always worry. So, you know how your email always shows the latest message in your inbox when you open it? Well, I almost passed out when I saw a message from a friend of mine who died a year and a half ago. It was a message I had received and didn’t know it was still in my inbox because it was buried deep with thousands of emails on top of it. How does that happen? Or I guess it makes more sense to ask, what does he want me to know? He surely got my attention. I aim to find out.
Woo woo stuff happens to me often. I am not sure if it’s because I am open to it or why I am so lucky, but the message on my cell phone is just another in a lifetime string of such experiences. I have met many people who have had such experiences and most thought they were losing their minds. Many think it would be too embarrassing to tell anyone about it. I am here to say it is really quite normal. So many people I know have “dreamt” about a loved one who died. The description is always so different than a normal dream. I call those occurrences “visits.” Again, I have been lucky enough to have such visits. If you haven’t had one it might be that you just aren’t comfortable with the idea of it. Or you and your loved finished your business before he or she crossed over the rainbow bridge.
There is a great little village in New York near Buffalo called Lily Dale. It is a spiritualist community with mediums who live there during the summer months. It was built as a summer camp so it is only open between mid-June to Labor Day. They do readings, teach classes, give demonstrations, perform healings and fascinate those who flock to Lily Dale each season. It is a special place where you meet gifted people who can help you communicate with a loved one who has crossed over. There are usually 42+ mediums there and I cannot vouch for all of them. I experienced a mix of so-so to unbelievably accurate readings. I highly recommend a trip to this fascinating little place nestled on the shore of Lake Cassedega where you can receive messages from the other side.
Be well,
Shirley
